The company located in Troutville Virginia, just outside Roanoke is run by Stephen Brain, who was born in England and moved to the United States in 2000 after many visits all over the country.
Stephen is qualified through the Western Horseman’s Association of Great Britain and trained under one of the country’s top Western riding instructors Pamela Brown,Portsmouth,UK.
As a barrel racer he won the VA 2002 4D State Championships on a horse he trained.
Having started riding at three years old and being around horses from then on,  he has an extensive knowledge of horses and a very good understanding of their actions and psychology.
As he started in English before progressing to Western , Stephen specializes in transferring English horses to Western and vice versa, and also helping horses with psychological problems. This is all done slowly and with the horse’s well-being in mind, and he has had a great deal of success with the training methods he uses.
We start a lot of young horses, taking in equine students as young as three months old to prepare them for everyday life and for halter and showmanship competition, as well as starting horses under saddle for many different disciplines both in English and Western.
Facilities to board horses on short stopovers while they are traveling, and a limited number of long-term boarders spaces are available.
We are also equipped to help with your foaling needs and are located within a mile of the nearest equine veterinarian clinic.
